Heather Tomsick is Managing Director at Deloitte Tax LLP and one of the top tax accountants in the Seattle area.
Heather has spent her 18-year public accounting career serving individual, trust, closely-held business, and large non-profit organization clients. She helps her individual clients achieve their wealth transfer goals by creating and implementing wealth transfer strategies to minimize estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes and maximize charitable giving. For her private company clients, she assists with business transition and transfer of ownership to the next generation(s). She provides UBIT assistance and consulting to her large non-profit clients, as well as federal and state tax compliance, primarily resulting from alternative investments that are part of the organization’s portfolio.
Heather received her BA in Accounting and her JD from Gonzaga University. She received an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Washington. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Washington State Bar Association, Washington Women in Tax, and the Estate Planning Council of Seattle.
